Six Degrees of Separation #6degrees

Hello!  It’s that time of the month again!  Six Degrees Time!

It’s a very simple process! Kate over at booksaremyfavouriteandbest chooses a starting point, and then you get to see where that chain takes you as a reader!  It can be a word that links the books, an author, a theme… the choice is yours!!
The starting point for this month is THE POISONWOOD BIBLE by Barbara Kingsolver……  here’s where this takes me…

Thinking of the bible made me think of faith, and Judith in The Land of Decoration had such strong faith that the story has stuck with me ever since.  She creates a magical world   from very little and it was a fabulous read!

Thinking of LAND made me think of the author – ALI LAND – and her stunning debut Good Me, Bad Me!!

The word ME, leads me on to REMEMBER ME? by Sophie Kinsella!

The theme of memory loss and problems remembering things brings me on to ELIZABETH IS MISSING by Emma Healey.

Carrying on the ‘fuzzy memory’ theme drew me to IN A DARK DARK WOOD by Ruth Ware

And the word WOOD pushed me to think of the author MONICA WOOD, who wrote the amazing THE ONE IN A MILLION BOY!  Such a wonderful story!
